Email Campaign Technical Specialist
Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Spectrum Labs is seeking an Email Campaign Technical Specialist who will be responsible for all technical aspects of executing email blasts that build awareness, drive traffic, and generate revenue for Spectrum Lab’s multiple product divisions. This person will serve as the technical expert on email campaign execution and must have solid knowledge of email strategies and best practices.
Areas of Responsibility and Focus
Must have extensive experience coding SPAM-proof email blasts using HTML and CSS best practices that are compatible with all major email clients including web clients.
Work closely with the Creative Director to code existing and new designs.
Thoroughly test emails for compatibility across all email clients on multiple computer platforms including most commonly used web clients
Maintain corporate email and mail lists and develop tactics to grow lists
Work closely the Marketing Director on customer segmentation, messaging, analytics and test-and-learn strategies for all email marketing communications
Ensure optimal program performance by conducting thorough analysis of email campaigns, recommending and implementing opportunities for optimization and identifying and evaluating new opportunities
Work with the Marketing and Creative Director to develop new email programs, including segmentation and triggered campaigns
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year experience B2B email coding experience, including all aspects of email production, creative execution, scheduling, proofing, and analytics.
Experience with email service providers
Experience with execution of A/B and multivariate testing programs
Expert working knowledge of HTML and CSS optimized for email blasts
Self-motivated and proactive, with strong written/verbal communication skills
Ability to keep up with/manage changing and challenging deadlines

Oversee installations, operation and maintenance of machines & engines used to design lab equipment & products. Research, design, evaluate, operate, & maintain lab products, lab equipment, and processes to meet reqs. Develop new mechanical designs & subsystems for new lab products. Draft, read & interpret precision technical plans & drawings, blueprints, schematics, & computer-generated reports using AutoCAD & SolidWorks. Conduct research and consult w/vendors & clients re materials for mfg. Review design proposals, specs, manuals, and other data to eval cost and maint. reqs of devices & applications, production planning, production development & service tooling required to meet operational goals. Conduct & participate in interdepartmental teams for product development. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected to support sales activities. Reports to the Director of Business Development.
